Dublin homecoming planned tomorrow for returning Army sergeant

The Pleasanton Military Families Support Group and others will welcome home Sgt. First Class Frank Mitchell from his deployment in Afghanistan at noon Saturday, Dec. 22. The homecoming will take place in front of the family home where he will unite with his wife Annemarie at 8350 Cypress Court in Dublin. Sergeant Mitchell graduated in 1988 from Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo and joined the Marine Corp. shortly after graduation. While in the Marines, he was a heavy equipment operator. He then changed in 2007 to join the Army National Guard. He is with the 2668th Transportation Company based in Yuba City. During his deployment in Afghanistan, he was a convoy commander and based at the Shindand army base in western Afghanistan.

This is so awesome! Our Marine is also coming home on Saturday!! Although, he is driving so we do not know what time he will arrive. It's the best Christmas present a military family can receive!
