The city of Dublin is asking the community to participate in the 2013 Community Survey on Parks. The survey will close on Feb. 28.
The purpose of the survey is to obtain feedback on park amenities, including consideration of a future dog park.
The survey was developed to assist the city government's staff with the planning and development of future parks and amenities. It also seeks the public's input on a proposed dog park that the Dublin City Council identified as a key initiative this year.
The survey is available online at the city's website, or the public may obtain a hard copy at the Dublin Civic Center, Shannon Community Center, Dublin Senior Center and the Dublin Public Library.
Additionally signs with Q.R. codes will be posted at parks and facilities so that visitors may access the survey via their mobile device. A Q.R. reader app is needed on the mobile device in order to read the code.
"Feedback from our community is so important to future planning," said Paul McCreary, parks and community services director. "We hear from the public throughout the year with suggestions such as dog parks and community gardens, and this survey is a great opportunity to hear everyone's ideas and priorities for our future park planning,"
For more information and to participate in the survey, please visit the city of Dublin website at www.dublin.ca.gov, or contact McCreary at (925) 833-6645. Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.
